His clients include public and private collections as well as state archives in Germany and abroad. He studied conservation and restoration at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne and founded the company \u201crestaumedia\u201d in 2002, focusing on conservation and restoration of audiovisual media as well as the development of strategies for long-term digital preservation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In addition to his freelance work, he has been responsible for the supervision of the video art collection of the Museum Brandhorst and the Pinakothek der Moderne at the Doerner Institut in Munich on a part-time basis since 2015. Andreas has been a guest lecturer at FH K\u00f6ln, HTW Berlin and FU Berlin, University of Amsterdam, and Danube University Krems, among others. Zu seinen Kunden geh\u00f6ren \u00f6ffentliche und private Sammlungen sowie staatliche Archive im In- und Ausland. Er studierte Konservierung und Restaurierung an der FH K\u00f6ln und gr\u00fcndete 2002 die Firma \u201erestaumedia\u201c mit Schwerpunkt auf der Konservierung und Restaurierung von audiovisuellen Medien sowie Entwicklung von Konzepten zur digitalen Langzeitarchivierung.<\/p> <p style=\"text-align: center;\">Neben seiner freiberuflichen T\u00e4tigkeit verantwortet er seit 2015 die konservatorische Betreuung der Videokunstsammlung des Museum Brandhorst und der Pinakothek der Moderne am Doerner Institut M\u00fcnchen in Teilzeit. Als Gastdozent war Andreas u.a. an der FH K\u00f6ln, HTW Berlin, FU Berlin, Universit\u00e4t Amsterdam und der Donau-Universit\u00e4t Krems t\u00e4tig. Au\u00dferdem gab er internationale Workshops im Auftrag der Deutschen Welle Akademie f\u00fcr den Bereich Naher Osten und Nordafrika sowie f\u00fcr das Goethe Institut in Indien.
